NASC Designation

History
Prior to the NASC, consumers had few paths by which they could locate high-level, competent and affordable on – and off-site IT service providers. The old methods of selecting a service technician often lead to higher costs and lower quality. Why should any other outcome be expected when the selection criteria was the largest advertisement in a telephone directory or a panicky call placed to the first available person who has the time to make a service call. With the NASC and the advent of Designated Solution Pro’s, these problems can be eliminated.

Overview
Think of the DSP designation as the “Seal of Approval” for solution providers and electronic technicians.
The NASC DSP designation is helpful in giving our members the edge in showing their clients that they are committed to high standards and quality technical service. The DSP designation also shows their customer that they will receive expert service and support.
Verification of Technical Online Profile
The purpose of the online technical profile is to record the solution providers basic Information along with the individual members skills, capabilities, licenses and certifications.

The customer is provided with a detailed technical report of the qualified NASC Designated Solution Pro (DSP), showing the company name, location, years in business, number of employees, certifications, feedback from past customers (if available), references and other important information to help the customer in making the best decision as to who will perform the requested work. After the customer makes his or her decision, the NASC™ notifies the DSP member who is then responsible for making a diagnosis and providing a quotation. The customer is allowed to review up to 6 qualified CSP technical Profiles.

NASC Designation Requirements
NASC members must agree to a strict Code of Ethics that promises fair treatment and quality work. They must also conform to our Standards of Practice and deliver exceptional customer service to remain a member in good standing with the association. Failure to meet or comply with any of the above certification requirements may result In termination of membership and revoking the DSP designation.

DSP professionals have earned the right to be a trusted and recommended source. Only solution providers certified by the NASC can display the DSP seal of approval. This designation tells you that the service provider and the entire company is dedicated to delivering a first class job. Our customer feedback system allows customers to view the experiences and recommendations from past customers to help put your mind at ease and to curb your frustration in finding a competent,trustworthy professional. Not only does the general public have a means of selecting some of the industry’s best solution providers and channel partners, but others in the channel are taking notice. Now consumers are requesting that their work be done exclusively by those with the DSP designation.
