Welcome to the National Association of Solution Providers and Channel Partners. We respect your decision to enhance your business by becoming a member. Membership not only benefits you and your business, but also provides you an opportunity to give back to all Technology Industries. Please take a moment to review the following brief suggestions to maximize your membership in the NASC.

The NASC is founded on the highest set of ethical standards in the Technology industry. Members come to the NASC to gain access to a growing library of valuable resources designed to help them grow their businesses. Equally important is the fact that all Members pledge to honor either the Code of Ethics of Code of Conduct. This creates a Global Community founded on the synergies of trust, competence, and reliability where Members know they can confidently share with one another.

 

New Member Suggestions and Requirements

User Name/Password

The privilege to access the growing library of information and resources provided by the NASC is conferred only to Members in good standing of the Association. As a result, Members may not share their user names and passwords with anyone. Please do not abuse this privilege as it can negatively affect other Members.

NASConline.com Functionality

Contact us if you have any questions or issues with the functionality of our site. Site updates will be posted in the NASC Forum as they are released. Please feel free to offer any suggestions for improving our primary Member site. We are always open to helpful ideas from our Members.

Member Technical Profile

You completed a Member Application and Technical Profile to become a Member. Your Technical Profile is extremely important to you and your business. It is the basis for other Members and future customers to use when searching for help or deciding with whom they want to do business.

Your profile contains information that help set you apart from other technology professionals. As a result, we strongly encourage you to make sure your profile is complete in every respect and updated on a regular basis.

Cross-Member Communication

The NASC is a Global Community of Technology Experts. Therefore, we strongly encourage Cross-Member communication. The goal or intent of all communications must be clear and non-deceptive. NASC communication privileges should never be abused by misleading Members into believing that assistance is being offered when, in reality, general marketing or recruiting is the only objective. This applies to all membership categories.

Member Benefits–Generally

Please take a moment after reading this to explore the many Member Benefits that the NASC provides to meet the needs of Members. While you will find a number of excellent ways to grow your business, Members must use each benefit only for must its intended purpose. For example, a job opening should only be posted on the Job Board. Likewise, the sale of an item should only be posted in the Classified section of the site. This allows Members to rely on NASC benefits to find exactly what they need in the quickest and most efficient manner.

Technical Forum

NASC Forums are our primary means of communicating with Members so please join the forum and subscribe to our ANNOUNCEMENTS FORUM.

Introduce yourself: As a new Member, we encourage you to “introduce yourself” to other NASC Members by posting a quick note in the “Welcome Mat” area of the Technical Forum. This is your chance to let other Members know who you are and what you do. Please check back often in an effort to help other members with their posts.

Subscribe: At the top and the bottom of every thread you will find a ‘Subscribe’ button. Selecting this subscribes you to the specific topic with email notifications that a new post has been made (including a link to this post for your convenience). You can manage your subscriptions in your profile.

Job Board (Subcontracting)

The NASC Job Board was created to facilitate Member-to-Member subcontracting. Members also have the ability to review the posts of freelancers who are looking for contract, part-time, or full-time work. All Member-to-Member interactions are solely between the Members. The NASC does not make any recommendations whatsoever, either expressly or impliedly, with regard to any business relationship established between Members and/or Non-Members. Members should, therefore, conduct their own due diligence before doing business on any level.

Employer Panel: Employers can post an in-depth job descriptions, search available resumes, manage jobs and subscriptions. Email templates are also included for replies to interested job seekers.

Job Seekers Panel: Job seekers can create detailed resumes to apply for jobs, create cover letters, track the responses from employers for the applied Jobs. Job seekers can also get Job Alert emails based on their job alert criteria. You can even create RSS feeds.

Resource Libraries

The NASC is building a valuable library of helpful resources for Members. Currently, there is no charge for this information as the library is built. In the near future, access may be fee-based for certain resources depending on the content and the provider. Full Members will also be have an opportunity to upload their own personally-developed resources for other Members to access (subject to NASC guidelines).

Training Videos: Feel free to access some excellent training videos from the web. Topics include SEO, LinkedIn, Photoshop, Facebook, Pinterest, Google Analytics and WordPress to name a few.

Member How-To Videos: We have also posted hundreds of training videos that cover CompTIA courses as well as Microosoft MCSE training by a highly regarded Microsoft MCT. These video resources are currently available only to FULL Members of the NASC (but not BASIC Members).

Company “Explainer” Video: FULL Members of the NASC have an opportunity to create and upload a custom “Explainer” video to introduce their products, services, skills or programs. For those who are unfamiliar with production of these “Explainer” or “How-To” style videos resources are on the NASC website and free software is available at http://www.camstudio.org.

Member Classified

This Member resource is designed for text and display advertisements for technology equipment only at this time. FULL Members may post an unlimited number of classified advertisements. Members who are Ebay Sellers may also add their entire store of Ebay listings to create an even larger audience. All classified advertisements are fully searchable on the Internet.
