Sharing a common bond of professionalism

When asked, “What makes the National Association of Solution Providers and Channel Partners a truly unique Association?” the answer is simple. Name any branch, category, or specialty of the IT and technology industries, and the NASC serves it. The NASC welcomes Members and Member businesses regardless of company size, geography, specialty, or business volume. The small computer retailer and single-specialty consultant is just as important to the NASC as the large, multinational technology conglomerate.

Having such a broad and diverse membership base is a real advantage for those who come to the NASC seeking cross-industry business cooperation and cross-member support. Members who receive customer requests to provide products and services outside of their traditional competencies know that the NASC helps convert these business leads to financially-beneficial cooperative business transactions or referrals. The ethical and professional bond that NASC Members share allows this to occur in a seamless manner.

Members are ethically linked to one another through the NASC Code of Ethics. As a condition of membership, all Members agree to uphold the technology industry’s most comprehensive Code of Ethics. The Code is an affirmation by all Members of vigorous belief in the professionalism of the IT and related technology industries. Members also link themselves professionally by earning the Designated Solution Pro (DSP) designation.

In order to proudly use and display the DSP designation, Members voluntarily agree to post complete, accurate, and up-to-date information about their businesses, products, services, and themselves  on the NASC website. This provides an opportunity for other Members and the public alike to become better acquainted with the Member before using, hiring, or purchasing from them. While the NASC cannot guarantee the products or services of a DSP Member, rules of membership do give the Association the right to remove any Member who is less than candid with their profile from full participation in the Association.

Designated Solution Pros are truly interested in providing better products and a higher standard of service. They share a common commitment to providing a satisfying experience for their customers, clients, and other Members with whom they cooperate. If the goal of joining the NASC is to help raise the bar for Solution Providers, Technology Professionals, and Channel Partners, consider it done.
